A great 2016 Innsbruck Nature Film Festival is over. Four festival days, which were characterized by exceptional films, exciting discussions with filmmakers and visitors, interesting workshops and a great atmosphere in and around the Leokino in Innsbruck. The “Call 4 Entries” for the 2016 Innsbruck Nature Film Festival 2016 has ended on July 15. Over 600 films from 87 countries have reached us this year. The pre-jury will now decide what will be shown in Leokino at this year’s Festival, taking place from October 18 to 21. Once the nominees are fixed, the shortlists and consequently the program will be published here.

Preparations for the 2016 Innsbruck Nature Film Festival are already in full swing and we are pleased to announce that this year’s edition will be held from October 18 to 21. We also celebrate a little anniversary: for the 15th time, the capital of the Alps will be the hotspot for nature and environmental film in fall! The ” Call 4 Entries” too is in preparation and expected to start in the mid of March. From then on it will be possible to submit films for the 2016 INFF via our online form.
