On Friday, during the Award Ceremony of the 2015 Innsbruck Nature Film Festival, prizes and honorable mentions in 9 different categories were awarded. Opening film “DamNation”

On Tuesday, October 6 at 7 pm, this year’s Innsbruck Nature Film Festival opens with the American production “DamNation“. A film for all nature film fans, but in particular also for river lovers, canoe and kayak riders. The theme of obstructed rivers plays a central role in this contribution by Ben Knight & Travis Rummel! We are looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday!

CALL 4 ENTRIES – CLOSED

The “Call 4 Entries” for the 2015 Innsbruck Nature Film Festival closed on Saturday and we are stunned how we have grown in appeal to filmmakers around the world! In numbers: we have received 552 submissions from 83 countries. Now it is time to let the pre-jury decide which films will be nominated. The shortlist is out at the beginning of September, so stay tuned!!

Impressions filmmaking workshop

Impressions filmmaking workshop

From July 20 to 23, the filmmaking workshop organized by the Innsbruck Nature Film Festival for all adolescents from 14 to 25 took place. On four consecutive days, experienced workshop leaders held a crash course on the skills that it takes to make a short film on the legs. The finished works may now be submitted to the INFF, offering the winner a prize money worth 1000 Euros. The workshop was held in the “Mühlauer foxhole” and the “Karwendel Alpine Park”.
