sets out on a dangerous journey to uncover
the source of an ancient curse. According
to legend, the sorrow of a heartbroken girl
has brought devastating floods to the village
for generations. Yucha ventures into the
mountains to find the spirit behind the storms
and protect his family. Rooted in Japanese
folklore, “River Returns” is a poetic coming-ofage
tale where nature, memory and the spirit
world are deeply connected.
