Scientist Luca Rossi explores the complex bond between humans, wolves, and the Alpine wilderness.
How close can we get to a wolf – and to the
people who live alongside it? After a lifetime
of studying wolves, scientist Luca Rossi
finds himself navigating the many realities
surrounding this remarkable predator. As
shepherds, researchers, rangers, and hunters
each reveal their own perspective, the film
explores the relationship between humans,
wolves, and the Alpine wilderness they share.
“Lupi Nostri” is a rare journey into the world of
a species that continues to shape the places
it inhabits.
A film for those who believe every landscape
has its own stories.
The screening is followed by a talk with the director
Samer Angelone and Teresa Millesi (University of Innsbruck).
