Melanie Gandyra's landscape speaks of ecological fragility through her characteristic formal language. GET IN SHAPE, or we'll lose our balance! Along her "path of good hope", questions of excess, survival and the potential of redistribution arise between flying droplets. In Monster Chetwynd's world, performance, sculpture, installation and costume merge into one. A recurring motif is the "monstrous". Not only the name she performs under evokes the grotesque and the outrageous – her sculptures and performances also celebrate the other, the nonconformist, the defiant.
