Before a single film reaches the screen at innsbruck nature film festival, there are heated debates, unexpected favorites, emotional silence and the occasional sentence: “Okay… but we HAVE to show this one.” 🎬🌍
Once more, our Pre-Selection Jury gathered at Villa Blanka to discuss the film submissions for the 25th edition of innsbruck nature film festival.
Filmmakers from around the world entrusted us with an extraordinary collection of stories — wild, intimate, uncomfortable, hopeful, visually stunning, sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes surprisingly funny.
Every submission was watched carefully and discussed with real attention and curiosity. Choosing the final program is anything but easy, which is probably the best sign imaginable.
Unfortunately, we won’t be able to screen every great film we receive. But we can already promise this: the program for inffs 25 th edition will spark conversations, shift perspectives, and send you home wanting to go out and explore. 🌿✨
A huge thank you to all filmmakers for sharing your work with us and of course to our incredible Pre-Selection Jury, who spent the past weeks diving into the deep sea, forests, activism, biodiversity, and cinematic masterpieces instead of having normal evenings. 🙌🏻🍿
