Tamas Dezsö's pictures are visual reflections on the significance of man in the universe, his status between animals and stones, between living and dead entities. His gaze falls on the world of plants. On “the voiceless, non-narrative, barely perceptible being of plants”, as he says, “immobile and scattered through time.” Four diptychs form the center of his work for INN SITU. Man-sized images of alpine forest floors in the Tyrol/Vorarlberg region, photographed in spring, summer, fall and winter. They are tools for reflecting on our being part of the planet's organism, on our connection with the whole.
