In Austria, dedicated volunteers use thermal drones to rescue hidden roe deer fawns before mowing.
Every spring, countless roe deer fawns are
born hidden in tall meadow grass – just as
the mowing season begins. Unable to flee
from approaching machinery, many would
not survive without help. Filmed in Serfaus,
Austria, “For Deer Life” follows dedicated
volunteers who rise before dawn, using thermal
drones to locate and rescue the hidden fawns
before the fields are cut.
A film for everyone who believes conservation
begins in our own backyard.
